"KAIKA awa sake sparkling" is Kaika brand's first transparent sparking Japanese sake made through secondary fermentation. The general incorporated association, "Japan Awasake Association," has set strict standards regarding the manufacturing method and quality, such as "it must derive from carbonated gas produced from secondary fermentation," and the "gas is 3.5 bar pressure or more." This new style of authentic sparkling Japanese sake has cleared these standards. It is unlike the conventional sparkling Japanese sake that are charged with gas or active cloudy sake and is a gem you'd want to enjoy with an entirely new perspective. It has a refreshing fragrance of fresh citrus and fine creamy foam, and they form a harmony elegantly. The deep and intricate deliciousness, as well as the pleasant sourness, create an excellent balance. It is the best sake to enjoy drinking with a meal.
About "KAIKA"
For over 340 years, the brewery has stood in Sano, Tochigi Prefecture, in the northern tip of the Kanto Plain. The brewery owns its own paddy fields, and employees are in charge of everything from rice planting to harvest. Through preparing in small portions, the sake making has taken pride in all of the rice, water, and brewing. Such a brewery makes a sake with gorgeous and subtle fragrance as well as soft deliciousness.
